Acceptance of entry conditions
By entering the (Un)limited Design Contest, you implicitly accept all conditions of entry.
Premsela and Waag Society reserve the right to alter the conditions of entry without notifying entrants in advance.
Entry and registration
Entry is free and open to anyone except employees of Premsela, Waag Society, project partners, members of the jury and sponsors.
Each entrant may submit a maximum of three designs.
Entrants must supply complete and accurate information upon registration. Entries submitted with false registration details will be removed from the site and disqualified.
Entries that are unnecessarily offensive or in violation of Dutch law will be removed from the site and disqualified.
Premsela and Waag Society reserve the right to close entry to the contest at any time.
Entry requirements
Entries will be evaluated exclusively on the basis of their presentation on
www.unlimiteddesigncontest.org.
Each entry must therefore be complete, containing a blueprint and product description, instructions, illustrated steps, and a clear summary of specifications and functionality.
Password and user name
Your registration, user name and password on the (Un)limited Design Contest website are personal and may be used only by you. You are personally responsible for all activities carried out under this user name.
If you notice or suspect that unauthorised use is being made of your password and/or user name, you must notify the organisation immediately at info@unlimiteddesigncontest.nl.
Use of the website
Participation in the contest and use of the website are free.
In using the services, you agree to adhere to common standards of decency and thus refrain from using vulgar, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise offensive language.
You also agree not to use the services for illegitimate purposes, such as the sending of files that contain viruses.
Copyright and other intellectual property rights
The entrant indemnifies Premsela and Waag Society for any claims made by third parties in connection with possible copyright violations made in the course of participating in the contest. By entering the contest, your work will automatically be submitted under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 licence:
You are free:
- to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work
- to Remix — to adapt the work
Under the following conditions:
- Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
- Noncommercial — You may not use this work for commercial purposes.
- Share Alike — If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under the same or similar license to this one.
With the understanding that:
- Waiver — Any of the above conditions can be waived if you get permission from the copyright holder.
- Public Domain — Where the work or any of its elements is in the public domain under applicable law, that status is in no way affected by the license.
- Other Rights — In no way are any of the following rights affected by the license:
- Your fair dealing or fair use rights, or other applicable copyright exceptions and limitations;
- The author's moral rights;
- Rights other persons may have either in the work itself or in how the work is used, such as publicity or privacy rights.
