Short Description:
iScriptDesign.com is a website, or rather application for display, modification or even creation of design.
It leverages svg in the same way Alexander Rulkens' magicbox does but now in the browser. Magic box was the previous year winner in the category form, for a good reason: It introduced the concept of parameterized design, but I found 2 mayor drawbacks:
- It needs flash or flex.
- It was not opensource.
iScriptDesign addresses these issues and goes further: it runs in the browser (all but Microsoft IE), and it is opensource. It's not bound to box design, my previous and this year's submission are present as example, and are also parameterizable in some way.
But I sincerly hope YOU also start using it. You're encouraged to download and experiment with the contents, preferably not from accompanying zip but directly from code.google.com where you have the latest version (au contraire to the accompanying zip)
