Short Description:
I decided to make a statement against the latest media hype surrounding the mexican flu (a.k.a. swine influenza / H1N1), so my submission for this design contest is a laser cut bandido style scarf with a scary graphic. The media are currently hyping this pandemic with lots of reports, interviews with so called specialists and (ex)victims and death toll statistics. Result? Scared populations and governments investing millions in vaccines (hence the Panic Pandemic 2009 slogan).
My solution to this problem is that everyone should make a bandido style breathing mask to scare the shit out of everyone who isn't wearing a breathing mask yet.. so more and more people will get a breathing mask to protect themselves. As a result the influenza will eventually stop spreading! Yeah!
